I don’t need to look to the Tea Party for proof that American evil lurks.

Because more often than not, my wants trump other people’s needs, and my moral arc continues to easily bend towards fear, desperation, self-protection and selfishness, even while I’m critiquing the President for not making the wealthy share more, not pushing back against the Tea Party and not doing enough to specifically help black America.
